able to provide a design service that allows us to visit site and
monitor existing battery applications. Using this information and 3D
CAD modelling tools, we can evaluate and propose an alternative low
maintenance solution for bespoke applications.

Signalling |
|
Valve regulated lead acid batteries are ideal for
use on the rail network to
provide back-up standby power in case of mains failure and a source
of
instant power for short high current demands. Their resistance to
shock and vibration, coupled with wide operating temperatures, provide
excellent performance characteristics in rail applications. Our Red Flash
battery
range is used in UPS systems, point end switching and level crossing
applications. Individual Cyclon cells can be used in series to provide the
desired voltage for small signalling loads.

This product is ideal for use in lineside cabinets and capable of
operating approximately 6 simultaneous point switches. Provides an
environmentally friendly alternative to wet nickel cadmium and
flooded lead acid battery systems. |
Replacement Battery System for
the TPWS UPS
For areas not having the benefit of a secure supply, a UPS provides
standby backup support for the TPWS. This UPS is rated at 2200VA and
is generally mounted in a line side cabinet. The run time of the UPS
can be extended by fitting additional batteries, housed in a separate
cassette, underneath the UPS and connecting them in parallel to the
internal battery. |

150Ah 24V
Level Crossing Battery & Charger Kit
Our 24V 150Ah Red Flash Battery System provides standby
power at level crossings. The Red Flash battery directly
replaces conventional Wet NiCd and flooded lead acid batteries. Its
modular construction facilitates safe handling and eases on-site
installation. The batteries are totally maintenance free and require
no topping up or regular inspection, and costs normally associated
with the disposal of NiCd cells are reduced. |
