The Varley Red TopTM range of motorsport batteries from DMS
technologies, including the new 2008 specification, is used across almost
all racing series by teams and individuals who recognise not only the
qualities offered by the Varley Red Top range but also the support
provided by the Varley Red Top team from DMS technologies.
The 2008 Specification Varley Red TopsTM 15, 30 & 40 have been
tested over a period of some 15 months, including thousands of miles in
various motorsports applications, including some 2500Kms during A1GP
bio-fuel evaluations at Silverstone and Snetterton.
With an emphasis on training and product support, DMS technologies is
committed to providing our Varley Red TopTM customers and
distributors with the necessary tools to ensure the end user receives the
highest levels of service, wherever they are in the world.
Although the Varley Red TopTM range of batteries possesses
excellent resistance to shock and vibration they, along with every other
battery type, can be adversely affected by different frequencies generated
during day-to-day driving. These frequencies can be destructive to the
inner construction of plates and connecting straps of the battery.
To help prevent such potentially damaging frequencies from passing through
the battery, it is recommended that at least 10mm of fire-retardant foam
padding is used around the battery during installation.
To make the installation of the battery more straightforward, the Varley
Red Top technical team has designed a battery mounting bracket that comes
complete with the necessary foam padding.
Designed with the user in mind, this latest development is available for
the Varley Red TopTM 15, 30 and 40 batteries - which covers
almost all of the racing & rallying series. Like the batteries, these new
brackets can be fitted in almost any orientation and have slotted fixing
points for ease of fixing and replacing.
In addition to the batteries, we have a range of high quality chargers to
ensure safe and effective recharging as well as GridStart engine start
packs with a range of connection options. Our products are available
