DMS technologies has been supplying the rail industry with approved
batteries, chargers and power systems since 1998. Our PTS approved
engineering team is able to provide a design service allowing us to carry
out site visits to monitor installations and, using our extensive
facilities, can evaluate and propose alternative low maintenance solutions
for bespoke applications.
High performance, efficiency and safety are key to the success of our
products. DMS technologies’ RedFlash systems use only sealed lead acid
battery cells, replacing conventional Nickel Cadmium, gel and wet cell
technologies, ensuring that all of our systems are environmentally
friendly and compromise neither performance nor quality.
The RedFlash battery, utilising Absorbed Glass Mat technology, has
extremely low internal resistance and gives high power output upon
discharge providing a stable voltage, boasting excellent power to size
ratio. The battery can also be fitted in almost any orientation.
New products which will become available in the first half of this year
include a 12V 50A Electric Lock unit, an 24V 25A AOCL small level crossing
supply, consisting of only two or three modules, and a low voltage track
circuit power supply.
