Engine Start |
|
|
Using the highest grade AGM batteries our
equipment is designed to operate in the harshest environments,
reliably delivering high peak currents to start all vehicles.
The robust polyethylene outer case protects the internal batteries and
electronics from damage in the field, whilst also reducing the weight
of the slave battery system to allow it to be fully transportable and
man portable.

Power for Covert Surveillance.
|
|
Our technical competency enables us to provide
assembled packs and charging solutions to meet the demands of homeland
security military and users for covert surveillance applications. Our
NiMH cells have excellent shock and vibration characteristics and with
an operating temperature range during discharge of –30°C to +60°C,
these batteries can be used in the harshest of environments. They also
have the ability to be discharged in any orientation. The NiMH battery
offers design versatility, combining the advantages of good capacity
with high energy density and excellent cycle life. In particular the
13Ah F cell and 9Ah D cell are lightweight, making them particularly
suitable for portable devices requiring high performance.

Solar Applications
|
 |
With the ever-increasing need to develop
renewable energy we have established an internal team to evaluate
battery and solar panel technologies and determine their use in high
technology industries.
Our products are currently being used to power information systems
used in bus shelters in London and across the UK. |

Custom Build |
|
|
With over 20 years experience of battery technology, DMS technologies
has the knowledge and ability to provide effective power solutions to
meet specific requirements. A recent military application is the
development of a replacement power supply for the Royal Navy’s M134D
MiniGun ship protection weapon system. The RedFlash
battery pack provides power for both the motors, one driving the 6
barrels and the other for the ammunition feed.

|
MiniGun for Royal Navy |
 |
The battery system has recently completed UK land and sea trials in
the Middle East where it surpassed the client’s expectations. The
battery system has now been accredited with NATO Codification NSN

Special Power System for the MoD (UK) |
|
 |
We were approached by a main contractor
to the United Kingdom MoD to build a power supply to meet a
specification that would provide a 744V 1Ah battery. The result was the
assembly of 372 2V cells that had the potential to discharge at 1000A
and recharge in around 5 minutes. |
