MiniGun battery pack for the
Royal Navy

The Dillon MiniGun is in service with the Royal Navy to both protect the ships from close quarter attack as well as providing supporting fire. The six-barrelled gun can fire 3000 rounds a minute and the power system was designed and built specifically for this |
weapon. It provides stand-alone power for the motors driving the barrels and the ammunition feed. Extensive trials were undertaken on a Type 42 destroyer and Type 22 and Type 23 frigates, all the tests surpassed expectations. Click here for more info

12V 13Ah NiMH |

These 12V 13Ah NiMH packs were specifically designed to replace the military UB2590 re-chargeable Lithium-ion battery, and used in a ‘rugged’ communications system. The design includes similar safety |
features as the UB2590 in the form of short circuit protection and current limiting. We have also developed a number of derivations of this design for a number of other military applications. |

NiMH Charger |

This NiMH charger allows the batteries to be charged from either AC or DC power sources. For AC charging, the unit has a wide input voltage - from 90V to 264V.

Alternatively, for DC charging, the unit can operate from 10V to 30V inputs, enabling the charger to be used in commercial and military vehicles the world over. |
