The sealed lead acid cells used for this application have an operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C and benefit from excellent shock and vibration resistance making them ideal for the purpose. Switch-Tripping
|

The Cyclon cell is
ideally suited to switch tripping applications. It’s
ability to deliver a pulse current 20 times its
nominal capacity is one of Cyclon’s key features.
The Cyclon range can be configured to meet all
nominal DC voltages used in the electrical supply
industry namely: 12, 24, 30, 48 and 110V. In areas of
extreme climate the Cyclon range could well be
considered as it has a wide operating
|
temperature range from -40°C to +80°C. The cells are robust and can withstand a greater degree of shock and vibration than normal lead acid batteries. The cells can be arranged into various shapes and configurations that allow the battery to be mounted in space restricting areas inside equipment cubicles, even side mounted on to cabinet walls. |

supplies power to any device for up to six users. Static (without wheels) or mobile (mounted on castors), wireless (rechargeable, provides six hours of power from an overnight charge) or wired (plugged into a
floorbox, can also be used to route data cables). |

battery capacity. The LVD can control currents up to 10A
on board and can control an external relay to allow for
load currents up to 200A

The Red Flash Split Charger is an ultra low power loss device that can be used to charge separate battery banks from a single source. The Red Flash Split Charger will disconnect the link between battery banks when the charging source (the alternator in this case) is switched off. On systems that contain multiple banks charging from a single source, a split charger can help extend the life of your batteries by ensuring a balanced charging
regime. The split charger is very easy to set up, and is supplied with full instructions and circuit diagram. The unit has incredibly low power consumption, particularly when compared with other diode splitter
systems. A range of current ratings are available including 60A, 90A and 120A, with various input/output arrangements. |

Motorbike-mounted Engine Start Powerpack

A leading UK vehicle breakdown response organisation had a requirement to carry an engine start pack on their fleet of motorbike-mounted response units used in busy cities across the UK. In order to fit under the seat, DMS designed,
for Serenco UK, a small powerpack featuring a high rate battery, isolator switch, high quality |
|
leads and crocodile clips, LED “push-to-test” state of charge indicator, surge and spike protection and “on-bike” charging. The resultant pack was half the size of any unit with a similar performance as well as saving 0.75kg in weight allowing the patrol to carry more vehicle recovery equipment. Click here to visit
